Joneisha “JoJo” Carmichael, is a native of Dothan AL, and has been a committed and hard–working dancer for the past 16 years. JoJo received training and education in the disciplines of ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap, hip–hop and acrobatics at Dothan School of Dance. The diversity in her foundational dance training has helped to improve her technique and performance quality.
JoJo has earned several prestigious awards and accomplishments; such as, Junior Miss Dance of America 2012, Miss Dance of America 2017 and Houston County Distinguished Young Woman 2018 just to name a few. In the fall of 2018, JoJo enrolled into Pace University in New York, NY, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Commercial Dance. During her time at Pace University, JoJo has participated in multiple performance opportunities and has worked with renown choreographers such as Jess Hendricks, Karla Garcia, Bo Park, and more.
