Ballet


    All students are encouraged to study Ballet, the base form of all dance, along with any other dance forms they choose. Ballet enhances our coordination, increases strength & flexibility. and develops grace & discipline inside and out of the studio. This training is the most important dance training a student will have as it is the technical basis for all other types of formal dance.
KINDERGARTEN BALLET & TAP: Age 5, one hour class per week. Combining basic ballet and tap technique.
BEGINNING BALLET, Levels I-V: Ages 6 and up, one 45 minute class per week. (Level V meets twice per week for 1 hour each class).
TEEN/ADULT BALLET AND JAZZ: Ages 12 and up, one hour class per week.
INTERMEDIATE I, II, & ADVANCED BALLET:
Two or three 1 or 1 1/2 hour classes per week depending on level.
POINTE: No student may take Pointe without a minimum of 2 ballet classes taken per week. Students must be recommended by their teacher to take these classes.
